<DIV>I recently wrote a letter to the N-G challenging the glorification of veterans. I wish I could have appended the letter with this report by Jonathan Schell of a new book on the Vietnam war by Nick Turse. Lessons about our more recent wars/massacres are doubtless appropriate.
