the Illinois Universal Health Care Act. This bill
provides:<BR><BR> A unified public financing plan
(single-payer) that covers the healthcare needs of all Illinois
residents.<BR><BR> High quality care, comprehensive benefits,
free choice of qualified health care providers, and no financial barriers to
care.<BR><BR> Equitable financing through a fair tax
system.<BR><BR> Public accountability, including significant
