                        good." I have a feeling many of us have a very
                        different definition ?of "public good" than he
                        does.<br>

                  been recruited into the milita<span>ry by the
                    poverty/lack of purpose draft. The Army has a very
                    visible presence in signage throughout the ARC. And
                    the disaster capitalist defunding of the public
                    sphere (while military spending has continued to
                    soar) has only made easier corporations' co-opting
                    of the ideologies and values of higher education.
                    <br>
                    <br>
                    I, for one, am not interested in sitting politely
                    quiet as someone responsible for public funds
                    siphoning, let alone military surveillance, warfare,
                    and countless authorized and unauthorized drone
                    attacks killing civilians around the world, tells me
                    how to envision the future of universities I attend
                    and might work for.</span></span><br>
