Monday early evening isn't great for some of us - 6PM is the time of the public meeting with the needs-assessment consultant for the Champaign County jail system. Brian Dolinar wrote:<br>

Demonstration logistics: Beckman has two main entrances, on the east side facing a circle drive on Mathews, and on the south facing the Engineering Quad. The auditorium is on the west end of the building, so attendees might take either entrance. The building's
big enough that a demo outside one entrance would be out of sight of those entering by the other. We should think about where best to demonstrate depending on how many of us show up to object.<br>

</span></span></span>So many young people have been recruited into the milita<span>ry by the poverty/lack of purpose draft. The Army has a very visible presence in signage throughout the ARC. And the disaster capitalist defunding of the public sphere (while
military spending has continued to soar) has only made easier corporations' co-opting of the ideologies and values of higher education.

I, for one, am not interested in sitting politely quiet as someone responsible for public funds siphoning, let alone military surveillance, warfare, and countless authorized and unauthorized drone attacks killing civilians around the world, tells me how to
envision the future of universities I attend and might work for.</span></span><br>
