Democratic Party, the Lorain County Ohio Central Labor Council ran their own
Union member city council candidates on an independent Labor Party ticket.
Twenty four of the Union member candidates won seats - including Joshua
Thornsberry, who beat the head of the local Chamber of Commerce.
