<div>Whether Francis' conference will be helpful in elucidating (or confusing) issues relevant to 9/11 I do not know. One should hear what there is to say. Terrorism, "intelligence", and war are the orders of the day it seems.</div>

I have watched your film, which I think extremely important and very well produced. I would love to see it widely promulgated.<br>
<br>
I admit that I've always been highly suspicious of the report of the 9/11 commission, led by those associated with the Bush administration, and think it should have been reviewed and criticized extensively by the media and by academics. So, perhaps I'm prejudicial
in your favor. I was always highly suspicious of the hysteria engendered by the poisoned letters, which helped lead us to the subsequent U.S. acts of aggression.
<br>
<br>
9/11, as your film indicates, was a pivotal event in what has occurred subsequently with respect to U.S. foreign policy.<br>
<br>
The film does not go into how a high level conspiracy by the Bush administration could have been so stealthily implemented. This has been a criticism of those challenging the accepted narrative, leveled by Noam Chomsky, for example. Someone would certainly
have leaked some incriminatory evidence, he has asserted: It was too big an event to cover up, he says. But he too has been too soft on the commission and its report.

<br>
On the other hand, as your film shows, there was ample evidence of the desire of the Bush cabal to get rid of state governments standing in the way of U.S. hegemony and/or having natural resources that the U.S. government wanted to control. Iraq, Afghanistan,
Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Iran, etc.. <br>
<br>
Aside from the discussion regarding the stock market, and the civil engineering questions about the building collapses, the film does not delve into who might have been behind the events of 9/11 (if not "Al Quaeda"/BinLaden). Was it a Saudi-U.S. plan? Who was
on those planes? Who organized the training of the pilots, and what about the wreckage in the collision with the Pentagon. Many questions of which I am not so well informed.<br>
<br>
But the main thesis of your film concerns the silence of the academic community on this vital issue. It is notable that the academic community has been largely silent about almost all aspects of modern U.S. wars and the loss of civil rights. Your film gives
rationales for this. But at the present time, my guess is that people feel it is too late to go back to truly investigate what happened and the cover up, if that is what it is, by the commission. Water over the dam so to speak. I think this is wrong. It would
be truly enlightening and beneficial to U.S. and world society to finally get the truth out, or at least show the faults committed by this commission. <br>
<br>
Your film could help, but I suspect it will have a difficult time getting the audience it deserves. It will meet with derision. Nonetheless, I wish you success in seeing it come to light.
