John McCain (AZ) is planning to amend the annual military policy bill to give the Pentagon even more money above the nearly $600 billion already under consideration.</p>
<p style="color: #222222; font-family: georgia, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.2em; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-top: 0;">Worse, our lobbyists have heard that <strong>a back-room deal is in the works to keep the vote for $17 billion dollars off the record.</strong> This major funding decision could come up for a voice vote — making it impossible to hold senators accountable for their position.</p>
