However, he supports war, and will offer the continuity that the Democratic Party wants in respect to US foreign policy, and hegemony, just in case the Republicans under Trump don’t comply. Maybe McCain is an extreme example, in so far as rhetoric is concerned, but hey the Democrats have always used words of peace, and McCain is just the “bad” cop to Ellison’s (good) cop.
