Ramsey Clark -- just back from Iraq, with video footage -- will give a public response to the warmongering statements George W. Bush has promised to make to the UN Thursday.
Clark and the delegation -- there while U.S./British
warplanes bombed Iraq killing nine people -- will report
on the U.S.'s ongoing war against the Iraqi people.
Other national media appearances featuring Clark are being arranged and will be announced soon.
Clark's public and media appearances this week will kick off A.N.S.W.E.R.'s anti-war activities, beginning this
weekend with emergency demonstrations around the country September 14-17, and culminating in the October 26
National March on Washington (and San Francisco) to Stop the War Against Iraq.
Now is the time for the anti-war movement to make history and stop the Bush administration's war plans. We can do it if we act now. The massive opposition Bush and his
counterparts face reflect a growing movement against the U.S.'s oppressive, all-war all-the-time agenda, which is
aimed at poor people all over the world including here at home.
