[Peace] instant peace rally TODAY

Folks,

I just got a call form Ann Schaeffer, one of the
students who came to a recent AWARE meeting with UI's
alternative spring break program.  She wanted us to
know there's an impromptu peace rally on the north end
of the UIUC Quad *THIS AFTERNOON* at 2:30pm!

The occasion is apparently that some group is raffling
off a real AK-47 to benefit that Orange and Blue
Reporter thing.

She assures me this is not a confrontational protest,
just a few folks with signs to present an alternative
view of the cavalier attitude toward the weapons of
war.

I'm passing it along in hopes that someone can attend.
