Hey all.

Student elections are today and there are a few things those of us fighting
for social justice might want to be aware of.
First is a sustainable campus referendum which if passed (vote YES) will
provide for a student farm, energy retrofitting, bike paths, and solar
power.

There are two candidates for the student senate.
Dan "THE MAN" Weber is a big proponent for diversity and green issues and
has been helping us on our student senate funded video documentary on the
North End.
Max Ellithorpe, a freshman candidate, is the only candidate who includes in
his platform a call for Champaign to establish a CPRB in the wake of the
Kiwane Carrington police killing.

Please feel free to send any other recommendations as these are all lists
where such campaigning is perfectly legal.
