I do always see your posts on the Peace list, Karen; though as you say,
seldom those of anyone else. Perhaps because others aren't posting?

Maybe other folks aren't posting because they're tired, and feel a sense of
futility. AWARE has been around since at least 2001. Since 9/11, since
the wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria. Years were spent picketing against
these wars in various places around C-U. Somewhat surprisingly, it seems
that we've had absolutely no impact on American foreign policy! The
buildup to war is always exactly the same, and now we just sort of watch it
happen, knowing full well what is going to happen.

I don't think things are ever quite as simple as you seem to want to make
them, and of course that's part of the problem. I feel like we're in the
midst of a crowd of toddlers, where everyone - America, Russia, China,
North Korea, anyone who is even remotely involved - says, "I'm GOOD!! HE
is BAD!! It's all HIS fault!!" They're all children to me, children with
nuclear weapons. We are children, too. I have wearied of it.
