The repression continues so the resistance can't
stop! The reach of the SOA continues to
expand. In the past 16 months, SOA graduates
orchestrated coups in two countries, Honduras and
Ecuador. While the people of Ecuador were able to
defend their democracy, the blood of martyrs
continues to flow in Honduras. It has become
increasingly necessary to expand our SOA Watch
movement to all of the Americas. When we are
gathered at the gates of Fort Benning in Georgia,
sister vigils against violence and militarization
are going to take place at the same time in
Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Costa Rica, the Dominican
Republic, Guatemala, Honduras, Venezuela and
elsewhere.
