Yesterday, acting on reports that a vote could be imminent, we asked you to call your Representative in the Illinois House against HB4011, a bill that would legitimize the de-facto Israeli annexation of the West Bank by cutting off state contracts with companies that boycott Israeli settlements in the West Bank. As it turned out, there was no vote in the House yesterday. Friday is the deadline for the bill to pass or fail in the current legislative session. <br>

<b>There is a companion to the House bill in the State Senate, SB1761.</b> So today, we ask you to make one more call to keep these bills from becoming law.<br>

Any private Israeli entity that wants to receive funding from the European Union must demonstrate that it has no links to the West Bank. <br>
