Champaign County Nursing Home (CCNH) has been facing
financial struggles for a number of different reasons. As
a result, the Champaign County Board placed two referenda
regarding the CCNH on the ballot this past </span><span
class="gmail-aBn" tabindex="0"
style="font-family:Tahoma,Verdana,Segoe,sans-serif;font-size:14px;line-height:21px"><span
class="gmail-aQJ">April 4</span></span><span
style="font-family:Tahoma,Verdana,Segoe,sans-serif;font-size:14px;line-height:21px">.
One question asked about a property tax levy to help
support the CCNH. A majority of voters voted against
raising the property tax levy for the CCNH. The other
question asked about “sale or disposal” of the CCNH. A
majority of voters voted yes to this question. And now the
Champaign County Board is struggling with the future of
the CCNH.</span><br
