a panel featuring several UIUC faculty, activists, and a PhD candidate on how the US has militarized Africa through the stealthy methods of neocolonialism. Come join us at this follow up event in which we will view the Al Jazeera documentary called "The Shadow
War in the Sahara", which investigates the tactics and effects of the militarization of Africa. After it is over, we will facilitate discussion on this documentary and the broader implications of the militarization of Africa.
