It’s not about the individuals as much as its about that which they supported. </div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">John Lewis chose to work within the system, and whatever his attempts may have been working within such a corrupt system, they were ineffective. All one has to do is look at the results. African Americans are worse off today than they were during the sixty’s.
