<div class="">Also regretable are the letters that Noam Chomsky endorses, one just today appearing in
<i class="">The Nation </i><span style="font-style: normal;" class="">(as an advertisement)</span> about relations between the U.S. and China. That letter blames China as much as the U.S. for the present escalating cold war in the far east. This seems to me
asinine. It is one example of Chomsky inconsistencies. As for the many others who subscribed to this letter…<span style="" class="">left wing stalwarts, such as Benis, Benjamin, Ellsberg, and others who should
know better.</span> Of course they no doubt have their rationalizations, as would Chomsky. . I find it dismaying. </div>
