Public Service Announcement

On Thursday, March 1st, the Illinois Disciples Foundation’s Human Rights
Film Series will present the documentary “Hungry for Profit,” an
investigation into how the global agribusiness system is turning the
world’s food supply into a global supermarket, selling food for profit
without concern for the effect on small farmers and local populations. The
showing will be at 7pm at the IDF, located on the NW corner of Springfield
and Wright in Champaign. Robert Naiman, director of Just Foreign Policy,
will be facilitating the showing and following discussion. Just Foreign
Policy is an independent and non-partisan organization dedicated to
reforming U.S. foreign policy. This event is free and open to the public.
