  African American Read-In @ The Urbana Free Library
   
  Stop by the Urbana Free Library this Monday for African American Read-In, a program which honors the contributions of African American writers and celebrates the joy and importance of reading.  Community leaders, local educators and young people will all be reading brief selections from books by their favorite African American authors.  You’ll see familiar faces like Carol Ammons, Sam Smith, Imani Bazzell and Jim Hayes.
   
  The program takes place on Monday, February 5 at 7pm in the front reading rooms of the Urbana Free Library at 210 West Green in downtown Urbana.  For more information contact Anne or Carol at 367-4405.
