[rfu-membership] RFU Station Meeting, Tuesday, Nov. 20 at 8pm and Shows Renewed and to be Dropped List

The next RFU station meeting is Tuesday, Nov. 20 at 8pm in the Family 
Room in the basement of the IMC. Use the stairs down to the Elm St. 
entrance for easy access.

Since it is the Thanksgiving Break, as we previously decided the only 
business on the agenda will be officially finalizing the list of renewed 
shows and those which will be dropped. The complete info as of Nov. 19 
is below. If there is anything else someone would like to bring up, that 
is welcome, although we may not be able to act on other items of business.

All RFU membership renewals were due October 31. This is the latest 
UPDATED list of renewals, as of Nov. 19.

_Please read this updated list carefully and completely so you can ACT 
NOW to give us a chance to correct anything that may be wrong. I believe 
that this list is now complete and accurate. Any show that is on List 3 
or List 4 will be removed from the schedule as of __8pm__ on Nov. 20 and 
the time slot made available to be claimed by other active groups as of 
__8pm__ on Dec. 4._

The first list are those shows/programming groups that have renewed at 
least two members and whose program slots are secure. Give yourself a 
pat on the back and look forward to your show through the next year:

Second, here are shows/programming groups that have ONLY one member 
renewed or trained. These shows/programming groups all NEED at least one 
_more_ member renewed or trained ASAP to be current or they will lose 
their show as of 8pm on Dec. 4. You may show up at the station meeting 
at that time, but it will be up to you to make the case that your show 
should remain on the schedule.

Third, these are shows/programming groups that are currently being 
logged as being on air recently in the studio, but who have NO members 
listed as renewed yet. These shows will be taken off of the schedule as 
of Nov. 20 as described below, unless you contact Mike Lehman 
immediately! These slots will be made available for claim by active 
programming groups as of 8pm on Dec. 4:

Fourth, these are shows that are still on the schedule, but which will 
be officially dropped as of Nov. 20. Some of them have already been 
dropped, but have not yet been taken off the schedule on the website. 
These shows are marked with an asterisk (*). Shows that do NOT have an 
asterisk have not been heard from and have NOT been logged recently as 
being in the air. ALL these shows be dropped from the schedule as of 
Nov. 20 and the slots made available for claim to active programming 
groups as of 8pm on Dec. 4.

At this point, if there is info that needs to be corrected, it is the 
individual programming group's members who have the responsibility to

The above lists and instructions will be posted on the studio door and 
on the bulletin board inside on Tuesday, Nov. 20.

Please note that the studio lock combination will be changed sometime 
after Thanksgiving. We will post notice of this to the RFU-Station list. 
You will need to send an email to RFU-Membership at ucimc.org 
<mailto:RFU-Membership at ucimc.org> to get the combination emailed to you 
or by other methods as posted in the email in the announcement of this 
that will be made on the RFU-Station list, so watch your email regularly 
and check it BEFORE your show so that you will be able to get into the 
studio after the lock combination is changed.
