[rfu-membership] membership form and membership list

Noel,
People have generally been willing to help at IMC Finance. The issue is
coming to them with a clear request and then being willing to help them
achieve what RFU needs. If we expect that there is some vast bureaucracy
out there that should be doing work for us, and then we wait for them to
do it, that is where the misunderstandings arise. We could revisit this
week's meeting for a very good example of "let's blame the IMC for our
lack of action" but...let's not.
:)

I would argue that we want as much coordination and overlap as possible.
The confusion comes we end up working off two sets of books, lists,
whatever. Then there is no way to easily resolve or update info or data.
We've already been there, done that. I can tell you that is the wrong
way to go. RFU is part of the IMC and we only create more work for
ourselves by insisting on duplicating things that IMC Finance can handle
now.

We can provide a supplementary RFU sheet to attach to the IMC membership
form, if what we need won't all fit on the IMC form, but the two need to
be tied together or we'll quickly lose most of the ground we've gained
in the last year.
