About 12 present, Ray circulated the sign-in sheet.
Temporary Revision to Training: This spring, it was decided that
training should be restricted to designated trainers via the Membership
group in order to ensure that everyone receives effective, standardized
training. It was also decided that we would require retraining for all
programming group members at some point in the future.
Access to training has been difficult, with a number of people recently
being unable to arrange for training due to other commitments by the few
designated trainers. As a temporary measure, we decided that the
designated trainer program is a good idea, but requires better
organization before it will be effective. Since we anticipate retraining
everyone once things are better organized, it was decided that training
could be done with volunteers who are current, trained airshifters until
then, provided FCC rules and regulations are covered in detail so they
are clearly understood and that those trained be made aware of the
basics of studio operation and RFU structure.
Thus for the time being, all training should include showing those
trained how to access the RFU wiki at:
http://www.ucimc.org/wiki/index.php/WRFU
The following specific documents on FCC regulations will be reviewed
during the training and any questions about them discussed during the
training.
*Obscene* material may not be broadcast at any time. Material that is
merely *indecent* and/or *profane* may be broadcast *between 10 p.m. and
6 a.m.* local time (the so-called "safe harbor" period).
Confused about the difference between obscene, indecent and profane
material?

Studio Cleanliness, Lights, Etc.: The studio is a shared resource.
Everyone is expected to clean up after themselves before leaving the
studio. Please report any instances where you find that the studio has
been left in disarray and the offenders will be notified. Also, please
turn out the studio lights and turn off all mics when leaving the
station on automation.
There was some discussion on other issues, but no other decisions.
