[Rfu-station] RFU Meeting Tonight, Oct. 16 at 8pm, Membership Renewal Reminder

The RFU general meeting will be tonight, Oct. 16 at 8pm in the Family Room.

IMPORTANT REMINDER
Programming groups need to have at least two members who have renewed 
their memberships as of Oct. 31 in order to stay on the air. Tonight's 
meeting is the last handy opportunity to renew.

In other news, the Raise the Tower Fundraising Drive continues, with the 
fund now at $2,500 on the way to our goal of $20,000. We've had good 
participation so far, but this effort requires the active participation 
of ALL programming groups to make it to our goal. What has YOUR group 
done so far? What can it do now? Here are some suggestions.

Saturday Urbana Farmers Market Booth
Continues to November, due to the help of a few dedicated volunteers. 
Has your programming group helped with this yet?

Electronics sale is this weekend:
October 19, Fri: 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
October 20, Sat: 7:00 a.m. – noon
The Oct. 18 sale date for IMC/RFU members was canceled due to lack of 
volunteer participation.

Kids on the Radio is Monday Oct. 29 from 2-5pm. Let Lavana know if you 
can help by volunteering.

T-shirts
We have a finalized design. We need to print the shirts. I hope to have 
a date for this at the meeting tonight.
