Hey everyone,
Zoe, Katie, and I were forwarded this. Check it out and let me know what you think. She doesn't mention payment, but I'm not sure how/why she'd fly from MA for our TBTN march without it.

See you tonight at the meeting,
Ross

Subject: Take Back the Night

Dear Ross, Zoe and Katie:
I was referred to you by Trish Pruis, and I understand from her that you
are organizing a Take Back the Night rally for April 30. I am a national
speaker committed to eradicating gender violence by teaching respect. I
have a unique story and approach, both of which dispel many of the common
myths about violence against women and exactly what kind of women it
happens to. I am available to speak at any function you may be organizing
for next month or next year and would love to talk with you at your
convenience about that possibility.

I have attached a complete listing of my presentations, which total more
than 100 in 14 states since our inception in 1999. As you'll see, I've
given nearly 20 Take Back the Night keynote addresses and have worked with
several FMLA chapters this year. The document also lists my most recent
press clippings and 5 primary references. If you would like copies of any
news articles or additional feminist group references, please let me know!

Equal Connections is unique in that we tailor each presentation to meet our
clients' specific needs. Each program has its own questionnaire that
provides a list of subtopics and allows all of our clients to articulate
their priorities and goals for the event. For more information, including
client testimonies, photographs of recent events and complete program
descriptions - including an introduction to our new career development
program, please visit our website: www.equalconnections.com.

Sexual assault and relationship violence are epidemic in our society. For
over five years we have been helping people change that, and we enjoy a
long list of satisfied clients, including the Cleveland Browns, the
Cleveland Indians, the Coast Guard Academy and dozens of East and West
Coast colleges. If you want to book a program or have any questions,
please do not hesitate to contact me at (617) 267-7968 or
Rebecca at equalconnections.com.

Thank you for your consideration!

						Sincerely,

						Rebecca Butler
