Broadway, Urbana<br><br>suggested admission $10-$15<br><br>Tatsuya Nakatani </b>is a contemporary percussionist, originally from Osaka, Japan, who utilizes drumset, bowed gongs, cymbals, singing bowls, metal objects, bells, and various sticks and bows to create an intense, organic music that defies category or genre, yet retains the sense of space and beauty found in traditional Japanese folk music. He has performed creative, improvised music as a soloist and in collaboration with numerous artists throughout the world.<br><br><b>Improvisation workshop to follow Nakatani’s solo performance.
