Hey Guys,<br><br>I know we have only three more weeks into the semester and you all must be really occupied with work. However if you want to take a break from studying and want to do something fun we will be having volunteering activities organized for you till the 5th of April. Below is some information about our volunteering activities for the upcoming days.<br>
<br><span style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0);">April 28th and May 5th at New Covenant Fellowship Church</span>- from 6-8 p.m. Please contact Brittany Simon at <u style="color: rgb(51, 51, 255);"><a href="mailto:simon20@illinois.edu">simon20@illinois.edu</a> </u><br>
<br><span style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0);">April 30th- "Bring a Friend to Lunch"</span>- On that day children at Yankee Ridge invite parents, grandparents or other family
members to school to eat lunch with them and stay for recess. If they
choose to come to the book fair, they can also do that. Children need an
adult to be able to come to the book fair during the lunch hour. The
children love having visitors come to school. Unfortunately for some
students they won't have someone come to school and this can be
upsetting for them. We are looking for volunteers to come and be a
friend for some of the children. There are two lunch periods, the first
is at <span style="background-color: rgb(255, 204, 0);">11:00 a.m (k-2grades) </span>and the second starts at <span style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 0);">11:50 a.m (3-5grades).</span> Please respond back if you interested. <br>

<br><br>Finally I would like to thank all of you who came out and volunteered with us. We really appreciate all your help and time. For those of you who didn't get a chance to volunteer this semester. Don't be disappointed you can volunteer with us once again in Fall 2010. We ll have a lot more happening next semester :)<br>
