Hey All,<br><br>Due to the <b><img goomoji="gtalk.00E" style="margin: 0pt 0.2ex; vertical-align: middle;" src="cid:gtalk.00E@goomoji.gmail"> Snow Day</b> <img goomoji="gtalk.00E" style="margin: 0pt 0.2ex; vertical-align: middle;" src="cid:gtalk.00E@goomoji.gmail"> (caps locked&bolded b/c I feel like it was quite a big deal around here) and the confusion surrounding orientation nights, I have decided to just email the entire list serve a quick recap of what we went over at the meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 2nd. I know, the VIP website had marked Daycare's orientation night for Wednesday as canceled, so if you were one of those who didn't come, don't worry. There is no penalty. Just make sure to read this email carefully. <br>
<br><font size="4"><u>Here is what we went over: </u></font><br><ul><li>The general<b> application </b>processes (varying for agency) <br></li><ul><li>Because we are working with children, extra special precautions have to be used by the agencies. Some Agencies require background checks, TB shots, references, etc. Don't let this scare you away from volunteering because it is a fairly easy process, just a lot of paper work that you might not have to fill out for other volunteer organizations. <br>
