VIP: Senior Citizens IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS! :)

Hey guys!

I hope everyone is having a great Easter weekend. I just want to inform you
of upcoming events for the Volunteer Illini Projects as a whole and within
senior citizens as well. :)

Monday (Fun and Games Night) at Champaign County Nursing Home from
6:45p-7:45p.
*Be at Circle Drive by 6:25p and look for Katie or Peter in a silver van!*


Thursday (Bingo!) at Prairie Winds Assisted Living from 6:30p-7:30p.
*Be at Circle Drive by 6:10p and look for Kirsten, Luis, and I in the silver
van!*

There are only 3 more weeks left of volunteering so please try to make it to
the nursing home as many times as you can! To celebrate our last week of
volunteering (4/18-4/24), which is the same as National Volunteering Week,
we will try to hang up spring decorations (grass, flowers, etc) around the
nursing homes/assisted living centers. So, please try to make decorations
within the next few weeks to hang up. Lastly, in that same last week, we
will celebrate all of your hard work volunteering on Saturday, April 24th
with Sunshine Jubilee. There will be FREE food, games, awards, etc. to
celebrate. All other projects will be there as well. I will send out the
time of the Jubilee as soon as I hear.
