VIP: Senior Citizens Volunteering this week!

Hello Volunteers!

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving break! Due to Christmas Break
quickly approaching, this will unfortunately be our last volunteer week of
the semester :(

I would also like to take this opportunity to let you all know that I will
not be directing this project next semester. However, after studying abroad,
I do plan to return to VIP next fall! That being said, I would like to
introduce the new Director of the Senior Citizens Project-Peter Cote! Peter
has been an active volunteer with numerous VIP projects, and has done great
work specifically within the Senior Citizens project. If any of you are
interested in coordinating or volunteering next semester, please stay in
touch with Peter for next semester at this email address. Please do not
email him until next semester though!

Important News:
-Monday volunteers-we will be hanging up Christmas decorations for the
nursing home so be prepared!
-Thursday volunteers! Would anyone be willing to use their debit card to buy
gifts for senior citizens this week? My bank has yet to mail me my new debit
card, so I do not have one at the time! If you make purchases, you WOULD BE
REIMBURSED with VIP money! If you are interested in going to the dollar
store with me on Wednesday afternoon and can offer up your debit card, that
would help me greatly, so please let me know!!!!

Here's the schedule for the week!

*Monday Fun and Games Night at Champaign County Nursing Home from 6:30-7:30
pm. Be at Union Circle Drive by 6:10 pm! Look for Katie in the silver van!*

*Thursday Bingo Night at Prairie Winds Assisted Living from 6:45-7:45 pm. Be
at Union Circle Drive by 6:25 pm! Look for me in the silver van!*
