[Vip-socialempowerment] Latino Outreach this Week!

Hello,

Hope everyone is well and done with or finishing up with midterms!

This week, we are going to be starting up tutoring at Edison Middle School.
I know it's a little late into the year, but better late than never. Having
done this in the past, I can tell you it's a fun and rewarding experience.
This is an after school program for the middle school children where we help
them with their homework and studies. The tutoring session will last from
around 3-4:30, so we will meet at La Casa 2:45 where I and maybe another
coordinator (depends on how many people would like to come) will drive
everyone to the school. We will start this program this Wednesday, October
17, but it will also run every subsequent Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

There's no obligation on your part, and you can join us for as few or as
many session you would like. If you want some volunteering experience with a
flexible schedule, please come join us or send me an e-mail for more
information. If you have any questions or concerns regarding what to expect

Again, this event will be running every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
starting on October 15. It will run from 2:45-4:30 at Edison Middle School.
I ask you to please send me an e-mail if you have ANY interest at all in
this project, so that we may arrange transportation for everyone.
