Hi wonderful volunteers!
I wanted to let you all know about some awesome upcoming events!! Please
remember you can come to as many events as you want just e-mail me if you
are interested in attending or want more information about the event.

1. SWANN Special Care Center Movie!
2.Special Olympics Volleyball Tournament
3. Camp Healing Heart
4. Pavillion School event

1. September 9th we will be joining Health Needs and taking the residents of
SWANN Special Care Center to a movie. SWANN is a living center for
individuals with severe disabilities so this field trip is a wonderful way
for the residents to get outside and have some fun. The event is from
1pm-4pm so meet at the Union Circle Drive at 12:30 to get a ride to the
event. It should be lots of fun! Please e-mail me if you are interested.

2.  September 16th we will be assisting with Special Olympics Volleyball
Tournament! They need volunteers to keep score, referee, register
athletes..etc... This event is at CRCE so we can meet at the actual event.
Volunteer registration begins at  9:45am and the actual games begin at
10:30am.

3. Camp Healing Heart is a camp hosted by Carle Hospice for individuals ages
7-17 who have lost a loved one due to illness. We will be assisting in
recreational activities on September 23rd all day. I will be sending out
more information with times soon.

4. Pavillion School is having a fundraiser with some great entertainment on
September 28th in the early evening. We will be volunteering at the event to
ensure that it runs smoothly and all of the families and kids have a great
time! I will send some more information about this event soon too.
