NEWS

- Greetings from San Francisco! Yes yes... this week's Hitlist is being
written from Haight St. in San Francisco, the land where electronic music is
EVERYWHERE and no one has heard of Soulja Boy (I kid you not... it is
heaven)... we're gonna be quick this week.

- Chillax returns for the fourth and final installment before winter break
on December 9th. This last set of chilled out tunes will be brought to you
by Mission, Metragnome, Eddie Blunt, and Phrotek. There is no cover at the
Highdive on Sundays, $4 bombs, $2 wells and $1 Miller Highlife Drafts.
- The live recording of Spinnerty at Boltini will be uploaded as soon as
Mertz returns from the Bay. So by Thursday at the latest, you'll be able to
hear all the funk and soul goodness from Mr. Spins.

- Just a reminder, if you haven't picked up Mertz's new mix CD, "Back In The
Box," you can get a copy at Exile on Main St in downtown Champaign. This 19
track tech house mix makes a perfect stocking stuffer!

- Mertz is the only confirmed performer thus far for The Sunday Night Sound
System on December 9th. He'll be bringing back new tunes from the Bay
alongside two other Champaign local DJs who will be spinning live between 7
and 10 pm on WRFU 104.5 FM
