Welcome to another edition of the 217mafia Hitlist, your source for all
electronic music news and events in Champaign-Urbana.

NEWS

- IMC FEST IS THIS WEEK!!!!!!   IMC Fest will be held November 9th - 11th.
Tickets for the event go towards helping the Independent Media Center and
WRFU, so getting down and partying with us is actually going towards a good
cause. For the jam packed lineup and more info, check out

-  Chilled Beats, the Sunday night downtempo radio show has come to an end
(at least for the moment)... while Mertz and Roro have had a lot of fun
spinning downtempo/trip hop/soul and other chilled goodies, they're putting
the show on hold a while to make room for....
- ... Chillax will start Sunday, November 18 at the Highdive. This new
Sunday night weekly will feature some of Champaign's and Chicago's finest
DJs stepping outside of their normal crates to spin downtempo/trip hop and
other chilled goodies live and in the flesh. Most nights will see the
pairings of 2 or 3 DJs working together to set the mood. More details and
weekly lineups will be posted here as we get closer. If you're looking for

info.

- Elise will be stepping back into her role as starter of the weekend at
Boltini by once again spinning happy hour. She masterfully mixes up soul,
broken beat, disco, house and whatever she feels like playing to get things
rolling every Friday night from 6 pm to 10 pm.

- Because of IMCfest, the Sunday Night Soundsystem will not air this week.
