Another 3R's volunteer wanting to spread out and do more work! I told him
I'd talk to him.
Right now i'm still working with a woman from Pontiac named Usha to get into
Dwight, using 3Rs books from Leah Shapiro, to run a reading group. I also
need to connect Usha and the man from BN, as Usha lives in Pontiac!

My name is Tod Kington.  I'm active in the 3R's Project in Carbondale
Illinois, I got your info from Sarah Lewison who I think you maybe familiar
with. I'm a trainer/ activist of Nonviolent Communication as well.  I have
been mentoring with an NVC trainer in Californian who is a co-founder of the
San Quinton Nonviolent Communication program. NVC is highly effective
process of conflict transformation and language use that has demonstrated
rich effectiveness in war zones around the world, in 65 countries, schools,
prisons, hospitals and interpersonal relationships. Below is a link for a
short documentary from a San Quinton administrator discussing the impact NVC
has had in San Quinton and a link for the Center for Nonviolent
Communication.

I'm looking for any kind of advise, support, or suggestions in my quest to
establish a learning opportunity for Nonviolent Communication in any
Southern Illinois Prison.  I'm reaching out to you hoping you might be
