Bicycle and/or Rider should be decorated.
Decorate the kids and bring them too!
The parade theme this year is "Miracle on Main Street".
Last year we had a great time, in spite of the very cold
temperatures. This year's parade is sure to be even more fun!
See the ChampaignCountyBikes.org photo gallery for decoration ideas
and last years photos.

LIGHTS:
Battery powered, LED holiday lights are available at Walgreens and
Wal-Mart (as well as other places).
For $3.99 Walgreens has 15 light strings that use 2-AA batteries. They
have a steady or blinking switch. Various colors are available.
For $3.49 Wal-Mart has 10 light strings that use 3-AA batteries. They
have a steady ON switch only.
White, Red, Green or Red/Green colors available.
[Also, CCB-er Sharon Micahlov reported $1.99 10-white-LED 2AA strings
at Schnucks. They're great! I checked yesterday, still many at
Urbana Schnucks, along with cheap-brand AA alkalines -- Barry ]
Batteries are not included with any of the sets.

P.S. We will have membership forms at the parade for anyone who
wishes to become an official member of ChampaignCountyBikes.
An individual annual membership is only $5. A Family membership is
$10. All dues go into a general fund to support bicycle advocacy
activities. Ask around at the parade to find a person who can give
you a form to complete and take your payment. While CCB is not a
registered charitable organization it is a not-for-profit corporation.
(I'm sorry if you get this email multiple times. You must be on
several bike lists in the area.)
