[Bikecoop-announce] Bike Project in the News Gazette

Hello Friends ---

 

The work day last Saturday to clean up kid’s bikes was a great success. We
borrowed parts from some bikes that were in poorer condition and were able
to get a dozen bikes into good shape (and fitted out with reflectors!) 

 

The president of the Prairie Elementary PTA picked them up on Sunday and was
very pleased with the collection of fancy bikes they would be able to sell.

 

She received the nickel tour of the co-op’s cavernous facilities and took
away a stack of flyers to give out at the sale.

 

I opened Thursday’s news gazette and saw the article about the bikes and the
