*Members Meeting*
We'll be meeting next Monday, April 30, at 6:30pm in the IMC shop for out
next members meeting.  The agenda is available at

sending out an additional reminder, so please add this to your calendar now
if you plan to attend.

Cycling Savvy course*
Cycling Savvy is a superb instructional course that will help you to enjoy
cycling in traffic by reducing risk.  Gary Cziko will be teaching Part 1
(classroom) of Cycling Savvy on May 4 in Urbana.  Parts 2 (bike handling
skills) and 3 (real world experience - cycling through Urbana) will be held
on May 5.  I attended Part 1 earlier this year and I highly recommend it to
everyone.  More information at

*Tour de C-U bike race*
Check out some bike races in downtown Champaign and Urbana next weekend
(May 5-6).  You can still register to race, or just show up to watch!

*Personal bikes*
Please finish your work on any personal bikes (bikes owned by you) stored
at The Bike Project and remove them as soon as possible.  We are not a
storage facility, and we only allow members to store personal bikes with
the intent that the bikes will be finished with a week or so.  We have a
lot of bikes coming in through donation, so please remove your personal
bikes to give us space to store the new donations.
