*Members' Meeting*
Our next members' meeting is Wednesday, Aug 27 at the downtown Urbana/IMC
location at 6:30 p.m. This meeting is open to all members. We'll make some
plans for the upcoming semester. If you are interested in volunteering with
us this semester, this will be a great time to meet our volunteers and sign
up for a slot. The agenda is available for edit/review at

*Shop Closed this Friday/Saturday/Sunday*
The Campus Bicycle Center will be closed this Friday, Aug 29, and the
Urbana IMC location will be closed Saturday and Sunday, Aug 30 and 31 while
staff and volunteers are attending a conference.

*Light the Night*
The annual bike light giveaway is scheduled for Thursday, September 11 (as
last as I heard...). If you are interested in helping The Bike Project
volunteers with light installation, please stop by the meeting tomorrow or
email us at contact at thebikeproject.org. If you want a free set of lights,
you just need to bring your bike to one of the giveaway locations (has been
Alma Mater and Illinois & Lincoln intersection in the past... Sorry I'm
short on hard details of this event this year.)
