Hey everyone,

With spring starting to turn into summer, we have a lot going on
bicycle-wise in Champaign-Urbana.

*Monthly Meeting*
Of course there is the monthly meeting: Wednesday, April 29 at the downtown
Urbana/IMC location at 6:30 p.m. We'll have pizza for everyone, and discuss
the agenda that is available for review or editing at
http://thebikeproject.wikispaces.com/2015-Apr-29+Agenda.

*May is Bike Month*
During the month of May, there will be many special events to encourage you
and your friends to get on your bikes and ride! A couple of events are
highlighted below, but you'll definitely want to check out
http://cubike.org/ to get an idea of everything that is going on.

   - *Bikes on Campus Day *on May 6th at Alma Mater from 10am - 1 pm.
   - *Bike to Work Day* on May 14th

* Volunteering*
Tuesday mornings from 9:30 to 11:00 are volunteer mechanic hours at the *Campus
Bicycle Center* (the garage at 608 E. Pennsylvania, Champaign). This is a
good quiet time to come in and help James around the shop.

The *Urbana shop *is in need of volunteers. Feel free to come in Wednesday
nights 6:30 to 9:00 to learn more about volunteering in the shop or to work
on shop tasks. We are in need of volunteers on most nights and especially
on Saturday and Sunday. You do not need to have any technical skill and
there are both mechanical and customer service volunteer opportunities.

*Update Your Tags*
Make sure that your personal bikes and build-a-bikes have updated tags. We
may re-tag build-a-bikes and personal bikes which have expired. There is a
two week limit on such projects unless members are actively working on the
bikes.

*Shop Needs*
We are looking for a donation of a used dual core (Pentium D, Core Duo,
Core Duo 2 or AMD equivalent) preferably desktop but can make a laptop
work. This will be used in the Urbana shop for instructional purposes.
