Hello again,

*Members' Meeting*
Our monthly members' meeting will be *tomorrow night, Wed Dec 2 at 6:30pm*
at the IMC/Urbana location. Due to the holidays, we combine our November
and December meetings into one at the beginning of December. At this
meeting we will be *electing officers* for 2016. We also invite anyone
interested in getting more involved at The Bike Project and gaining
experience leading a non-profit to *join our Steering Committee*.

*Check Your Tags*
We will be doing some housekeeping and organizing over the winter break, so
please make sure your tags are up to date. Please note that personal bikes
cannot be stored in either shop over break.

*Bike Storage*
If you need somewhere to store your bike over the winter break, Neutral
Cycle is offering this service: *$20 for the winter break*.

*Winter Cycling Tips*
A few tips for those cycling year round:

   - Keep your chain oiled
   - Put a drop of lightweight oil in your lock keyhole
   - Try to keep lock keyhole pointed to the ground (this prevents
   water/rain from entering, and possibly becoming ice as temperatures drop)
   - Be aware that brick roads seem to ice over quicker than asphalt. Sewer
   covers and grates are also hazardous.
   - Studded tires are an option, and great on ice. More costly than
   regular tires, but probably cheaper than your emergency room deductible. We
   don't sell them, but check with our local bike shops and they should be
   able to help you out.
