Great weather for Bike to Work Day on Thursday!
On May 14th, nine Bike to Work Day Welcome Stations will be ready to "Pump you up on your way to work!" And please forward this email to 2-3 other bike commuters you know, and maybe a couple of people you want to encourage to be a bike commuter.  Last week at the farmer's market a woman told me that riding to work on Bike to Work Day 2013 was the first day she ever bicycled to work, and that she has been a regular bike commuter ever since!  Your encouraging email could change a life!

All during CU-Bike Month 2015 Champaign County Bikes (CCB) is raising funds and awareness for the exciting new Kickapoo Rail Trail <http://champaigncountybikes.us10.list-manage.com/track/click?u=becf28a25d8e30aa0d96b9d15&id=cc8ae65833&e=6a391b5633>. So far participants in CU-Bike Month have donated over $3,000!  The Kickapoo Rail Trail will be a 24.5 mile dedicated bike trail between Champaign/Urbana and Danville with a stop at Kickapoo State Park!  Construction will begin this year from both ends of the trail as local funds are raised to match a large federal grant.  Everyone* who make a donation to the Kickapoo Rail Trail (KRT) will receive a KRT themed CU-Bike Month 2015 t-shirt with the tagline:  "I helped kickstart the Kickapoo Rail Trail!"  An opportunity to make an online donation is at the end of the Bike to Work Day registration form <http://champaigncountybikes.us10.list-manage.com/track/click?u=becf28a25d8e30aa0d96b9d15&id=ff97ed0442&e=6a391b5633>.
