[Bikecoop-announce] April Monthly Meeting, Info on C-U Bike Month and more

*Monthly Members' Meeting*
We will have our monthly members' meeting at *6:30pm this Wednesday, April
26 *at the IMC location (basement). We'll discuss the agenda at

will be pizza and beer.


*Volunteer Orientation*
The monthly volunteer orientation sessions are open to anybody interested
in making a staffing commitment on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. We go over
the basics of staffing, how to help even if you don't know much about bikes
(yet), and answer questions you might have. This month's session is
*this **Thursday
April 27, 5:30 pm *at our location in the IMC basement.


*The Bike Project is in need of volunteers for the Hours*
We need volunteers for the *Tuesday* and *Sunday* hours at the IMC shop.
Also we are hoping to get volunteers in order to restart the *Saturday* hours
as well as the *Women and Trans *hours. If you're interested in
volunteering, please come to the meeting, the staff orientation, or drop an
email to contact at thebikeproject.org.


*Friday Rides *
Thanks to BikeFace, we have Friday rides. Here's a link to BikeFace's
Facebook page where you can find information on future Friday rides:

5:45 pm at the Campus Bike Center* (608 E. Pennsylvania Ave, Urbana, IL).
The ride departs at *6:00 pm*.


*May, National Bike month, is around the corner*
To learn about C-U bike month please go to: cubikemonth.org
<http://www.cubikemonth.org/>. The earliest event will be *Bike To Work Day
on May 2, 7 AM to 10 AM*. At ten locations across the community, new and
experienced cyclists can go to a station before work and get snacks and
information about biking to work. More information can be found on the
