Dear members,

*February Members' Meeting, Monday at 6:30 pm*
We will have our February members' meeting* this coming **Monday, February 26,
at **6:30 pm* *at the Independent Media Center (IMC) location (in
the basement)*. We'll discuss the agenda at
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1dkxbpLAcu_Gkbxt16pQRTXxvOthUZ1cObYYfRriRMEI/edit?usp=sharing
. If you have anything to add, either edit the agenda (email
contact at thebikeproject.org if you need editor access) or email
contact at thebikeproject.org with the agenda item you would like us to add.
There will be pizza.

*The Bike Project Stands in Solidarity with the Graduate Employees'
Organization (GEO) at UIUC *
The Bike Project Steering Committee collaboratively wrote a statement of
support for the GEO
<https://www.facebook.com/thebikeproject/posts/1682877818437719>, whose
membership has been working without a contract since August 15. The
letter, which was released on February 22, emphasized the affinity between
The Bike Project, graduate students, and the CU community, and urged the
UIUC Provost to cooperate with the GEO during the bargaining process.
Unfortunately, no major movement was made on the last bargaining session on
Sunday, February 25. The GEO strike will start tomorrow at 8:00 am.

*Thanks, IMC!*
The Bike Project recently acquired a new metal cabinet thanks to our
friends in the Independent Media Center. The tan cabinet, which is located
near the lockers, will be used to store yellow bins containing personal
parts. Please check your yellow bins and move them to the new cabinet by March
12. Unattended bins may be considered abandoned. Email us if you have any
questions or need to make arrangements.

*Have your Bike Project member card with you on your visit*
We have a new sign-in system that is linked to our member database at both
the IMC location and the Campus Bike Center. Now instead of typing in your
name, you scan your member card. Please bring your member card with you on
your next visit to either shop. If you lost your card, let a staffer know
during open hours and they will help you.

Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow.

Cheers,
Rezvan
