From rshahoei at gmail.com Mon Mar 26 04:45:47 2018 From: rshahoei at gmail.com (Rezvan Shahoei) Date: Mon, 26 Mar 2018 04:45:47 +0000 Subject: [Bikecoop-announce] March Members' Meeting Message-ID: Awesome members of The Bike Project of Urbana-Champaign, *March Members' Meeting, Monday at 6:30 pm* We will have our March members' meeting* this coming **Monday, March 26, at **6:30 pm* *at the Independent Media Center (IMC) location (in the basement)*. We'll discuss the agenda at https://docs.google. com/document/d/11801sj76z63jL69cd6oiwcY3w4TUf-j9Q79uhW4qsRY/edit?usp=sharing . If you have anything to add, either edit the agenda (email contact at thebikeproject.org if you need editor access) or email contact at thebikeproject.org with the agenda item you would like us to add. There will be pizza. *Bike Maintenance Classes on April 19 & 26, at the ARC at 7:00 pm* The Bike Project is holding bike maintenance classes at Activities and Recreation Center (ARC) on Thursdays 4/19 and 4/26 7-8 pm. *The Bike Project Shop at IMC, every day more organized than the day before! * As noted in our February newsletter, the new tan metal cabinet donated by the IMC is now the location for storing yellow bins containing personal parts. Bins still waiting to be moved by their owners to the new location have been consolidated on top of the file cabinets at the far end of the shop. Any personal storage remaining on the file cabinets at 5 pm on Monday, April 2nd, will be considered abandoned and reincorporated into shop supplies. Please double check that area or email contact at thebikeproject.org if you have any questions or concerns. Organization projects in the shop remain ongoing. In order to support the overall efficiency of these projects and the shop's workflow, please pay attention to fresh labels when returning parts. If you are unsure of where to put something back, please consult a staff member or use one of the sorting buckets available in the shop. *The Daily Illini Article on The Bike Project * A shout-out to our proud and polite manager of the Campus Bike Center, Jake, and one of our very best grease monkeys, Corey: https://dailyillini.com/features/2018/03/12/nonprofit-do-it-yourself-biking- initiatives-cycle-into-spring/ Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow.
