Dear members of The Bike Project (TBP),

Here is the first newsletter of Fall 2018:

*September Members' Meetings, Tomorrow at 6:30 pm*
We will have our monthly members' meeting tomorrow*, Monday, September 24,
at **6:30 pm **at the IMC location (basement)*. We'll discuss the agenda at

If you have anything to add, either edit the agenda (email

will be pizza.

*The Next WTF Night On October 1, 6:30-9:00 pm*
The next Women and Trans Folks night at The Bike Project will be on *Monday,
October 1st, at the IMC location, 6:30 - 9:00 pm*.

*Two classes Coming up:*
*1. The Bike Maintenance 101 Class*
Come and learn the basics of bike maintenance like oiling the chain,
patching flats, and adjusting brakes and shifting.
*This is a demonstration-only class; please do not bring your bike. *

*Date: Tuesday, September 25*
*Time: 7:00 - 8:00 pm*
*Location: MP6 in ARC on UIUC campus *


*2. What To Wear: Riding Through Fall/Winter*
Come to this class to learn how to dress for biking in cooler and cold
weather. Learn about layering your clothing and outfitting your bike to
stay safe and warm on your bicycle throughout the winter months!

*Date: Thursday, October 18*
*Time: 7:00 - 8:00 pm*
*Location: MP6 in ARC on UIUC campus *
