******PLEASE FORWARD WIDELY******
******ONLY A FEW DAYS LEFT******

Dear Community Members,

After attending this evening's Urbana School Board
meeting and hearing calls for action, accountability
and change in response to the impacts of negative
student behavior, I now FIERCELY encourage you to
attend this Conflict Mediation Training. There is much
dialogue around the need for change in the young
student today, but when will we include ourselves in
this influencial equation? How can we, as educators,
parents and community members, expect to affect the
lives of others in a supportive and productive way
without allowing ourselves to be affected as well?
This training will bring an empowerment and
accountability on the individual level that is needed
in conjunction with collaborative work. Conflict does
not end at the end of the school or work day and how
we learn to respond to it will shape our future.

Sincerely,
Karina Lepeley
