JoJo Farrell of Human Rights organization GLOBAL EXCHANGE
speak on Cuba's innovative approach to organic farming.

Cuban farmers and scientists have been striving to reinvent a sustainable
agriculture based on ecological principles and local knowledge rather than
imported agricultural inputs. Challenged with growing food for 11 million in
the face of the continuing US embargo, Cuba embarked on the largest conversion
to organic farming ever attempted.

Despite such noteworthy achievements, relations between the U.S. and Cuba are
nearly as tense now as they were at the time of the Bay of Pigs invasion.
Though 90% of licensed travel to Cuba has been cut, Global Exchange has been
sending U.S. Citizens to Cuba for 15 years.

Documentary film "The Greening of Cuba" will be shown.

Fair Trade snacks will be served.
