[Commotion-admin] [commotiond] Linking step for google test fails on some machines (#80)

Using Ubuntu 13.10 (Saucy Salamander) and Linux Mint (also using SS) and gcc version 4.8.1

@dismantl was able to replicate.

I have found a workaround and will be submitting a pull request to the linux-fixes branch.
