This is true, and one of the things we've considered at Project
Byzantium.  There are lots of IP blocks out there that aren't used on
the public Net, and both Babel and OLSR are more than happy to set up
routes between nodes That Just Work (tm).

See also, a recent discussion on the ipv6-hackers mailing list about
pseudorandomly assigning IPv6 addresses on a network for security.  It
also doesn't help against passive attackers that use packet sniffers
to build a list of active hosts on a network from their traffic prior
to attacking.

Also, IPv6 is being actively studied and used by some attackers right
now, because knowledge of IPv6 is still rather scarce on the other
side of the fence.  "We don't know much about it, so they must know
less about it," is incorrect.
